Element Hotel by Westin at Mall of America is a casually luxurious take on modern wellness. The brand’s identity was adapted to fit the local landscape and precast concrete shell, highlighting tactile textures and rich finishes in the public spaces, as well as custom lighting solutions in the guestrooms. Circulation, collaboration, and adaptability were the driving factors when designing the hotel, with an ample amount of guests visiting for an extended stay. The exterior of the building features a custom panel system and textured stone, punctuated by a cylindrical exterior sculpture and thoughtfully constructed porte-cochère.
